Other Associated Symptoms of Narcolepsy

Other symptoms typically associated with narcolepsy are cataplexy, hypnogogic hallucinations, sleep paralysis, and automatic behaviour.

Who Gets Narcolepsy?

Narcolepsy usually begins when a person is in their teens or early twenties.  There is strong evidence that narcolepsy may run in families.

How is Narcolepsy Treated?

A combination of medication and behavioral treatments may be recommended.
